Devices and platforms
The OpenProject mobile app is designed first and foremost for mobile use. It supports both iOS and Android and is optimized for quick, on-the-go workflows such as checking notifications, updating work packages, or reviewing meeting agendas.
At the same time, many teams also work on larger screens. The app can be used on tablets and desktop-sized devices to support scenarios where more screen space helps with navigation, reading, and multitasking.

Using the app on larger screens
If you use OpenProject on a tablet or a desktop-sized device, you may notice differences compared to a phone:
- Layout and spacing adapt to larger displays,
- Navigation may appear differently depending on screen size and orientation,
- Some interactions may feel closer to a “desktop” experience.
